WHEAT WITH WHIPPED CREAM!
Description
Wheat with whipped cream is the extraordinary dessert from East Europe.
It is not a complicated recipe. Not at all but it does take time because
you need to start this recipe the night before.
The ingredients are simple:
wheat, walnuts, icing sugar and vanilla extract.
Sugar can be replaced with honey. (it really is your choice)
I can’t say enough about this recipe and it should be part of our life.
Everyday life.

- Organic wheat
- Walnuts
- Icing Sugar or honey
- Vanilla extract
Making the extraordinary recipe called
WHEAT WITH WHIPPED CREAM
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups organic wheat
7 cups water
1 cup icing sugar
3 cups walnuts (Grind the walnuts finely)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Start the night before:
Clean and wash organic wheat.
Using a large size bowl combine rinsed wheat and 5 cups of water.
(or as many cups as you need it in order to have water above the wheat)
Leave overnight.
Next day:
Rinse again and find large pot for cooking the wheat.
In a large pot combine wheat and 7 cups of water. (or add enough water that is about 3 inches above the wheat.)
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a medium and cook until tender and “pops”.
(COOKING TIME: from 90 minutes to 120 minutes or 1 1/2 hour to 2 hours)
I cooked mine for 90 minutes.
IMPORTANT!
While the wheat is cooking, please check often to ensure that wheat is covered with water.
Remember, the level of water must be above the wheat. (all the time)
Add additional water as needed.
When the wheat is cooked, rinse in cold water.
Set aside to drain or use clean, kitchen towel to drain it. (or paper towel)
Be sure the wheat is drained before you proceed to the next step.
Grind the wheat in a food processor or a meat grinder.
Transfer the grounded wheat into a large bowl and add icing sugar.
Mix two ingredients together until combined.
Your next step is to add finally ground walnuts and vanilla.
Mix all ingredients until incorporated.
You can mix using a large spoon or by hand.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Spoon into a serving glass bowl and decorate with whipped cream.
