Cream 1/2 cup butter + both sugars for about 2 minutes.
Add 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix it until smooth.
In another bowl mix flour, grounded oats, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Add all dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix for about 1 minute.
Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts.
Chill the dough for 1/2 hour.
Roll the dough into balls.(about 2 oz) . You will get 15 balls.
Chill them for 4 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Place 8 balls of dough onto each cookie sheet.
Bake for 13 minutes.
Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
