Hello Nutella/Oreo lovers!
Charlie bit my finger (can you blame him?)…no, just kidding…
It is Monday, Sep 5, 2016. Labour Day in Canada. Last night I made the Nutella Oreo Cookie Cups. And I LOVE IT.
I can’t wait to share this recipe with you. I would like to say it is as easy as pie but I don’t like to confuse you.
We are making Nutella Oreo Cookie Cups!
Let’s start our journey together!
For the cookie dough you will need:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup AP flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
Filling:
6 TBS Nutella
3 TBS Oreo Spread
Spray muffin pans with baking spray.
Cream 1/2 cup butter, add sugars and continue creaming until light and fluffy.
Add 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla.
Mix thoroughly.
In a separate bowl mix the flour, baking soda and salt.
Add to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Roll dough into balls. ( I used cookie scoop capacity 1 3/4 oz). You will get 12 balls.
Place them into muffing pan and bake for 11 min.
Remove from oven and use a shot glass to press your baked cookies down as soon as they come out of the oven.
Now, you have a perfect hole for your Nutella or Oreo filling.
Add 1 TBSP of Nutella to each cup. Then stop your life just for a moment and say: “Thank you Universe for the Nutella and Oreos”.

Let cool for 1/2 hour in pan and serve.

Optional: Top with some whip cream or ice cream and if you have no spoon
