-mixing bowl (for the cake and the filling)
-small sauce pan
-9 inch baking pan
-baking sheet (16 by 12 inches) or mini baking pan

Easy Schmoo Nutella Desserts-Mini Cakes Recipe
INGREDIENTS
6 egg whites + 1/2 cup sugar
6 egg yolks + 1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup AP flour
1 tsp baking powder
The best part: 1 cup chopped pecans
Nutella FILLING
8 oz Philadelphia cheese
2 3/4 cups Nutella
1 cup heavy cream
Icing
2 cups heavy cream
Whip It

Making Strawberry Buttercream Frosting
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS – CHECK THIS LINK
Made from fresh strawberries – Yes, it it homemade!
1 lbs strawberries (454 gr)
1 cup unsalted butter
4 1/2 cups icing sugar (you can use less, it is your choice)
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
1 TBSP whip cream (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING EASY DESSERTS

(this recipe can be made using 9 inch cake pan or baking sheet 16 by 12)
Preheat oven to 325 F.
Line 9 inch cake pan with parchment paper.
In bowl number 1 beat egg whites until almost stiff.
Add 1/4 tsp of cream of tartar and very gradually add 1/2 cup of sugar.
Mix well.
In a bowl number 2 beat 6 egg yolks until light. Add 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla.
Mix all ingredients well. (for about 3 minutes).
Now fold egg whites into yolk mixture.
Sift 1/4 cup flour and 1 tsp baking powder.
Use a spatula to mix flour into eggs mixture.
Be sure that no streaks of flour remain.
Now sift another 1/4 cup of flour.
Mix again using a spatula.
Fold in 1 cup chopped pecans.
Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake for about 45 min or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven and cool it.
Slice cake into 2 equal layers.
FOR THE MINI CAKES
Use the same recipe from the above.
Bake the cake using the baking sheet (16 by 12 inches).
Cut into desired mini sizes. (4 or 5 inches)
Making the best Nutella Filling
Add cheese to the mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
Then transfer to the plate.
Using the same bowl mix the heavy cream for 2 minutes.
Then add cheese and mix until two ingredients are incorporated.
After that add Nutella and mix quickly. (for a minute or two)
And you just made the best Nutella filling.
Heavy Cream ICING
Mix heavy cream and Whip It until incorporated. (if using and can find Whip It).
IMPORTANT: You can also use chocolate icing or Nutella ganache.
Assembly of an Easy Schmoo Nutella Desserts
Place bottom cake layer and add the Nutella cream filling.
Top with remaining layer.
Use whipped cream or Nutella cream filling to cover the top and side of cake.
Decorate with pecans, chocolate or use your own imagination.
Chill for at last 6 hours or overnight.

How to make Strawberry Buttercream Filling?
Core the strawberries to remove the white center.
Place cleaned strawberries in a food processor and pulse until smooth.
You will have about 1 and 1/4 cup of puree.
Then put the pureed through a sieve to remove the seed. You don’t need to do this step if you like seeds .
Place strawberry puree in a small saucepan over a medium heat.
Bring mixture to a simmer, stirring often.
Simmer for about 30 min or until the mixture is reduced to 1/3 of the original volume.
Place the reduced puree into the fridge to allow to cool.
Next Step:
Beat the butter. Be sure that there is no lumps.
Then add 2 1/2 cups of icing sugar and mix until butter and sugar are combined.
Add your strawberry puree, vanilla and salt.
Beat together until combined.
Then add 2 cups of icing sugar and mix well until well combined.
Add 1 TBSP of whip cream if needed and wanted.
And you have it, your homemade Strawberry Buttercream Frosting made from fresh strawberries.Enjoy.
Assembly of Mini Schmoo Cake
Place 5 inches mini cake on the plate. (or 4 inch or what size you have)
Add strawberry buttercream filling, second schmoo mini layer cake and cover the top and side of cake with strawberry buttercream filling.
Repeat of keep going until you use all mini cakes you have from 16 by 12 inches size.
Cover each cake with Nutella ganache or chocolate ganache.
