When they say life is not fair they are not kidding. But the irony of life is to rise above and fly…even if you can’t do the parallel parking in real life.Yes, that is the formula for success. Shoot for the moon … you will land among the stars.

And so I did. I bought the Milo drink, found the Australia’s best recipe and decide to bake for you. And for my dad.

Now, let’s go back to Milo Magic Cake which is actually called Magic Milo Cake.

How can I describe this cake?

It is liked baked hot chocolate. Very interesting and tasty. Top that with heavy cream, shaved chocolate or ice cream and you have the most amazing dessert. Of course the main reason I made this cake is the name. MILO! Yes, yes and yes. Baking can be the healing. And this cake was it for me.

So, what did I learn about this recipe?

This cake was made by Greer Worsley. She made this recipe based on the famous magic cake that separates in the oven into three layers. Then I google famous magic cake, found Chocolate Magic Cake and now my mind is spinning 360 above and beyond of many possibilities that I can make and try. See, this is the baking magic for all of us. Start healing with baking.

I made cake based on name and then I discovered there is more like: Australia’s Best Recipes, famous chef from there Greg Worsley, famous magic cake on google that I never heard of and want to try and so much more. Because we are all here to help each other and not just survive but to thrive in this magic life. And from Australia to Canada we are all connected. BTW, now more than ever we must share and be kind to each other. So, thank you Greer for your recipe. I hope you don’t mind that I adopted your cake and it is living another life in Canada and North America.

Making Milo Magic Cake

Ingredients

4 eggs (large, organic or free run)

1/2 cup caster sugar

1 cup MILO

1/2 cup butter (melted)

3/4 cup flour (all purpose)

2 cups milk (2%)

Decoration: Whip cream, melted chocolate, your favorite ice cream, shaved chocolate…

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 320 F.

Line 8 inch square pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper.

The first step is to separate egg whites from yolk.

Then using your favorite mixer mix egg whites to form soft peaks. Set aside.

Using another mixing bowl mix 4 egg yolks and sugar until pale.

Then whisk in Milo.

Your next step is to add melted butter and mix until incorporated.

After that add milk while mixing until you have a very smooth, thin batter.

Gently fold in egg whites until just combined.

Pour the mixture into prepared 8 inch pan and bake for 45 minutes. (according to the recipe)

Be sure to check if it is done by shaking the pan. If it is still wobbling, return to oven and bake for another 5 to 15 minutes.

I baked my cake for 55 minutes at 320 F.

Remove from oven, cool and serve.

Caster Sugar – if you can’t find it in your country please use the regular white sugar. It will work.

Making Caster Sugar at Home

You can make caster sugar using a coffee grinder. Place the sugar into coffee grinder and pulse until reaches super fine but not icing sugar consistency. Just think caster sugar is the middle child between regular white sugar and icing sugar. Have fun.

Yes, this cake is what life should be. Simple and giving. And made of three white layers and Nutella chocolate cookie layer. Finish everything with chocolate ganache and you have it. The best Simple Birthday Cake – easy recipe

Action Time

You will make 2 birthday cakes using 9 by 5 pan.

Making Simple Birthday Cake

Ingredients

2 cups heavy cream

1 pouch Dr. Oetker Whip It

8 oz cream cheese, room temperature

1 1/3 cup icing sugar

3 cups chocolate chip cookies

1/2 cup Nutella

2 TBSP rum

Lady Fingers

3/4 cup of cranberry juice (you can use your favorite)

Optional: Kit Kat chocolate, Oh Henry chocolate, peanut butter cups

Chocolate Icing

5 oz chocolate

1/3 cup heavy cream

INSTRUCTIONS

Line two 9 by 5 pan with aluminum foil or plastic wrap. Set aside.

Important: If you don’t have 9 by 5 pan you can buy aluminum foil loaf pans in Dollarama store.

Use 6 chocolate chip cookies and chopped them into small pieces. It doesn’t need to be perfect. Set aside.

KitchenAid Mixer Time

Beat heavy cream and Whip it in a bowl with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Transfer whipped cream to another bowl.

Then using the same mixing bowl add cream cheese and icing sugar. Mix until incorporated and smooth.

Your next step is to add whipped cream back into the mixing bowl to the mixed cheese.

Don’t use mixer at this point, just stir in the whipping cream into the cheese mixture until incorporated. Use wooden spoon or spatula to mix in.

Then divide cheese mixture into 2 equal parts so you will need two bowls. (part 1 and part 2)

Add chopped chocolate chip cookies to part 1. (bowl 1)

Keep part 2 plain. (this is bowl 2)

Food Processor Time

Add chocolate chip cookies, Kit Kat, Oh Henry to the food processor and process until finely ground.

Transfer grounded cookies to mixing bowl. Add Nutella, rum and mix until incorporated. (like 1 minute or so).

Congratulations. You just made chocolate layer for this cake.

Pour cranberry juice into the deep plate.

So, we have the following:

  • First bowl or Bowl 1 – cheese mixture with chopped chocolate chip cookie
  • Second Bowl or Bowl 2- cheese mixture
  • Third bowl or Bowl 3 (mixing bowl) – chocolate layer

Assemble of Simple Birthday Cake

Before you start be sure to trim 3 lady fingers in order to fit into 9 by 5 pan. You will use 6 lady fingers for each pan.

Dip the lady fingers into cranberry juice long enough to get them wet but do not soak them.

Arrange the lady fingers in the bottom of the pan.

Add cheese mixture with chopped chocolate chip cookies. (bowl 1)

Then add half mixture of chocolate layer. (bowl 3)

Add half of cheese mixture (bowl 2)

Top with cheese mixture with chocolate chip cookies.

Cover with plastic wrap, aluminum foil and transfer to the freezer.

When ready to serve, remove from the freezer and transfer to the fridge for 4 hours.

Meanwhile make chocolate icing.

Chopped the chocolate.

Heat the cream until boiling. Pour over chopped chocolate.

Let it sit for a minute.

Stir until smooth.

Cut the cake into desired size, pour the chocolate icing on top and enjoy the moment.

Chocolate Chip Cookies – You can use your favorite chocolate chip cookies. Or you can go to the Farmers Market and support locals.

Kit Kat chocolate, Oh Henry, Peanut Butter cups – you can add only Kit Kat if that is your favorite chocolate. How many to add – as many as you wanted.

Cream Cheese – I used Philadelphia Original

Chocolate Icing – Another option is using 5 oz chocolate and 1 TBSP oil. Just melt chocolate and oil using double boiler method.

How to make Carrot Cake with Pineapple

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups flour (AP)

1 tsp salt

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp ground allspice

2 cups sugar

1 1/4 cups vegetable oil

2 tsp pure vanilla extract

3 large eggs

2 cups shredded carrots

1 cup walnuts

2 cups flaked coconut

1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple in juice

Optional: 1 cup raisins

Cream Cheese Frosting

12 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 to 4 cup of icing sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Grease and flour three 8 inch round cake pans. (see important notes if you don’t have round cake pans)

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Using a medium bowl add flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, ground allspice. Stir and set aside.

In a mixing bowl add the following ingredients:

oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract. Mix until incorporated.

Your next step is to add flour mixture and beat until incorporated.

Then add coconut, walnuts, carrots and pineapple. Using the spatula mix all ingredients until incorporated and happy together.

Pour the mixture into 3 prepared pan.

Baked at 350 F for about 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Use toothpick to test if cake is baked.

Cool it.

MAKING CARROT CAKE FROSTING

In a large bowl add cream cheese, milk and vanilla. Mix until smooth.

Then gradually beat in icing sugar until you get the frosting for the carrot cake spreadable.

Assemble of original carrot cake

Be sure that 3 cakes are having a flat surface. In order to create it, layer off the tops of the cake using knife or cake leveler.

Place first cake layer on your cake stand.

Cover with cream cheese frosting.

Top with second cake layer then frosting.

Your next step is to add third layer.

Spread with remaining cheese frosting the top and sides. (if you want to and have enough frosting)

Decorate with chopped walnuts and chocolate.

Transfer to the fridge for a few hours or overnight.

How to freeze frosted whole carrot cake?

Put the carrot cake on a tray, unwrapped and transfer to the freezer for about 3 hours. (be sure that cheese frosting firms up)

Then remove from the freezer and wrap with plastic wrap. Be sure it is wrapped well and tight. Then cover everything with aluminum foil.

Store in the freezer for 3 months.

How to freeze slices of cake?

BAKING PANS – If you don’t have 3 baking pans that are 8 inch you can bake the carrot cake in roulade baking pan 11 by 16 inch. (roll cake pan). Then cool the cake and using a 8 inch plate cut the cakes. The baking time is 27 minutes at 350 F.

Oil – I used Crisco vegetable oil. Another option is olive oil.

Eggs – Large, organic and room temperature.

The cake is made with lots of fresh carrots, walnuts, coconut and pineapple.

Also this carrot cake comes with the most outstanding cheese frosting.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour (AP)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded carrots
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 2 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple in juice
  • Optional: 1 cup raisins
  • Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 12 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 to 4 cup of icing sugar

Instructions

    Grease and flour three 8 inch round cake pans.

    Preheat oven to 350 F.

    Using a medium bowl add flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, ground allspice. Stir and set aside.

    In a mixing bowl add the following ingredients:

    oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract. Mix until incorporated.

    Your next step is to add flour mixture and beat until incorporated.

    Then add coconut, walnuts, carrots and pineapple. Using the spatula mix all ingredients until incorporated and happy together.

    Pour the mixture into 3 prepared pan.

    Baked at 350 F for about 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Use toothpick to test if cake is baked.

    Cool it.

    MAKING CARROT CAKE FROSTING

    In a large bowl add cream cheese, milk and vanilla. Mix until smooth.

    Then gradually beat in icing sugar until you get the frosting for the carrot cake spreadable.

    Assemble of original carrot cake

    Be sure that 3 cakes are having a flat surface. In order to create it, layer off the tops of the cake using knife or cake leveler.

    Place first cake layer on your cake stand.

    Cover with cream cheese frosting.

    Top with second cake layer then frosting.

    Your next step is to add third layer.

    Spread with remaining cheese frosting the top and sides. (if you want to and have enough frosting)

    Decorate with chopped walnuts and chocolate.

    Transfer to the fridge for a few hours or overnight.

Then heat and grease the pan. I used 5 inch

Grease the pan using 1/2 tsp of oil.

Heat 5 inch pan until hot.

Place one Oreo cookie in the middle of the pan.

Pour about 1/4 cup of batter around the Oreo cookie.

Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until the crepe is golden on the bottom.

Flipping the Oreo Crepes

Then use the knife, spatula to lift the crepe and quickly flip it over.

Important: Be sure that knife goes under the Oreos before flipping.

Cook the second side for about 1/2 minute or until golden.

Slide the crepe to your favorite large plate.

Repeat with the remaining batter.

Storage of Crepes

To store wrap cooled crepes in plastic wrap then into a large zip-top freezer bag.

Keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.

If you want to store in the freezer no longer than 3 months.

Let’s start our no-bake journey with a few important steps:

-Cream cheese must be room temperature

-Please chop Strawberry Lindt Chocolate to smaller pieces. It is your choice how small you want to go. (If you can’t find Lindt Strawberry Chocolate use your favorite one)

-Be sure to have Dr. Oetker Whip it – it is important if you want your heavy cream to look great for a longer time (2 to 3 days)

Now we are almost ready to make this summer delight. Before that check description below.

Strawberry Summer Dessert is only 8-ingredient recipe. Quick and easy to make. Full of summer flavor from fresh strawberries, cream cheese, heavy cream and to the most amazing chocolate called Lindt Strawberry chocolate. Of course you can add other fruits to this dessert like blueberries, grapes or any other fruit of your choice. (I used blueberries)

BTW, this speedy summer dessert whips up in just 15 minutes. So, let’s do it.

Shopping List

  • cream cheese (I used Philadelphia)
  • heavy cream (35%)
  • strawberries (fresh from the market)
  • Lindt Strawberry Dark Chocolate
  • Dr. Oetker Whip It
  • icing sugar
  • Lady Fingers
  • fruits of your choice: blueberries, blackberries
  • orange or cranberry juice

Action Time

Strawberry Summer Dessert

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, room temperature

1 cup icing sugar

1 1/4 cup heavy cream

Lady Fingers

1 pouch Dr. Oetker Whip It

1 cup strawberries, fresh and chopped

3/4 cup of juice (orange, cranberry or your favorite juice)

Lind Strawberry Chocolate (100 gr)

Optional: additional fruits

Chocolate Icing

3 oz baking chocolate, chopped

1/4 cup heavy cream

INSTRUCTIONS

Line 9 by 5 pan with aluminum foil or plastic wrap. (see the picture below). Set aside.

Beat heavy cream and Whip it in a bowl with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Divide into 2 parts.

Add chopped chocolate to one part of whip cream.

So, now you have half whip cream with chocolate and half plain whip cream. Set aside.

In another bowl mix cream cheese and icing sugar until smooth. Add plain whip cream and mix all ingredients for a secone.

Your next step is to add chopped strawberries. Stir using a wooden spoon.

Now you have the following:

Cream cheese with whip cream and strawberries and whip cream with chocolate.

Your next step is to make this summer baby dessert.

Pour orange or cranberry juice into the deep plate.

Assemble of the cake

Dip the lady fingers into the juice long enough to get them wet but do not soak them.

Arrange the lady fingers in the bottom of the pan. (some of the lady fingers you will need to trim in order to fit into the pan)

Add half of cheese whipped cream over the lady fingers.

Add another layer of lady fingers. (same rules as for the first layer. Dip them into juice)

Then add the heavy cream with strawberry chocolate .

Our recipe today went viral in July 2020. Made by Pat Wilbanks and full of flavor and nostalgia called “home sweet home”. And made by the best person you can imagine, 77 young grandmother. The recipe is called…

Mama’s Biscuits!

So, you know why it went viral? When you see the word Mama’s and Grandmother’s in one video…you know it has to be the best homemade recipe. Ever.

If you haven’t try this recipe I am going to share my experience with it.

So, let’s start.

For this recipe you need only 4 ingredients.

They are:

  • self-rising flour
  • Crisco shortening
  • buttermilk
  • butter

So, recipe is super simple and very easy to make. In case you don’t have self-rising flour or buttermilk, I am going to teach you how to make it in your kitchen. Cheap, easy and fast.

The first question is..

How to make self-rising flour?

Ingredients

2 cups flour (all purpose)

1 TBSP baking powder (no aluminum)

1 tsp salt

Instructions

Add flour, baking powder and salt into a small bowl.

Whisk all ingredients together and you just made self-rising flour.

Congratulations!

Use immediately or store in an airtight container.

Making Buttermilk

Ingredients

1 cup milk

1 TBSP white vinegar, lemon juice or apple cider vinegar

Instructions

Pour 1 cup milk into small bowl or a liquid measuring cup.

Add 1 TBSP of vinegar and quickly stir using a wooden spoon.

Let it sit for 10 minutes at room temperature.

After 10 minutes: You just made the best homemade buttermilk. (and you saved money)

Now, if you have homemade buttermilk and self-rising flour you are ready to make the best homemade biscuits.

In your kitchen.

FIRST OPTION – Making Mama’s Biscuits BY HAND

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups self-rising flour, plus 1/3 cup for dusting

1/3 cup Crisco shortening

1 cup buttermilk

2 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted (don’t use margarine)

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 425 F.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Set aside.

Combine flour, Crisco shortening and buttermilk in your large mixing bowl.

Stir until well combined. Be sure to mash shortening into the flour and buttermilk.

Then add 1/3 cup of flour to a baking pan, dump the dough into the pan and knead together. Pat it out to about 3/4 inch thick.

Your next step is to use biscuit cutter (or cookie cutter or glass) and make 8 biscuit rounds.

Transfer them to prepared baking sheet.

Spoon melted butter over the top of each biscuit.

Bake at 425 F for 12 minutes.

IMPORTANT: For golden brown top, broil the biscuits for 1 to 2 minutes.

Remove from oven, top with more melted butter and enjoy.

Serve with sour cream, garlic, eggs and ham. (or anything you like)

How to make Mama’s Biscuits using KitchenAid Mixer?

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups self-rising flour, plus 1/3 cup + 1/4 cup for dusting

1/3 cup Crisco shortening

1 cup buttermilk

2 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted (don’t use margarine)

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 425 F.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Set aside.

Add the following ingredients to your mixing bowl: flour, Crisco shortening and buttermilk.

Using your stand mixer on low mix until all ingredients are combined.

Switch out the paddle attachment for your dough hook attachment.

Add 1/3 cup of flour and mix until the dough comes together.

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured board.

Knead for a second.

Pat it out to about 3/4 inch thick.

Your next step is to use biscuit cutter (or cookie cutter or glass) and make 8 biscuit rounds.

Transfer them to prepared baking sheet.

Spoon melted butter over the top of each biscuit.

Bake at 425 F for 12 minutes.

IMPORTANT: For golden brown top, broil the biscuits for 1 to 2 minutes.

Remove from oven, top with more melted butter.

Enjoy while still hot.

Sweet options: Raspberry jam or your favorite, Nutella spread and whip cream…Yes, I know.

My favorite option: With best fried egg and Italian Parsley. (Optional: Add tomatoes, red peppers, spinach…)

It is made by the most amazing grandmother from Georgia. Her name is Pat Willbank.

Ingredients

Well, you can make the best no-bake dessert you can imagine. So refreshing and so fun. The classic summer dessert. Made with raspberries.

Add to that the best chocolate in the entire world called LINDT and you can have everything. Yes, this recipe is dream summer no bake dessert. Made for all of you who don’t have or don’t want to turn the oven on. Or the stove. Yes, this is the easy 2020 summer dessert. And not just for 2020 this is the refreshing summer dessert for the years to come.

This recipe is for BEGINNERS. Yes, this recipe can be made by the total beginner. As a matter of fact if you never bake this is your starting point. Yes, I will repeat this is the recipe if you never bake in your life. It is that easy.

What ingredients do you need for this recipe?

ONLY 6 INGREDIENT SUMMER DESSERT!

(you can sing, only you…)

  • Heavy cream (33% or 35%)
  • Whip It (stabilizer for whipping cream)
  • Raspberry Lind Chocolate
  • Fresh Raspberries
  • Lady Fingers
  • Your Favorite Juice ( I used cranberry juice)

EQUIPMENT

  • Electric Mixer (KitchenAid, hand mixer or any mixer you have or using…)
  • 9 by 5 baking pan
  • mixing bowl
  • deep plate

So, let’s do it.

Time for the best summer dessert from my kitchen to yours.

Making Raspberry Summer Lindt Dessert

Ingredients

2 cups heavy cream (33% or 35%)

1 1/3 cups raspberries

2 pouch Dr. Oetker Whip It

Raspberry Lind Chocolate (100 gr), finely chopped

1 package of lady fingers

3/4 cup of your favorite juice (cranberries, raspberries, orange…)

INSTRUCTIONS

Line 9 by 5 pan with aluminum foil or plastic wrap. (see the picture below). Set aside.

Beat cream and Whip it in a bowl with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.

Divide in 2 equal parts.

Add chopped Lindt Raspberry chocolate to one half.

Now you have 1 cup of plain whipped cream and 1 cup of whipped cream with raspberry chocolate.

Pour cranberry juice into the deep plate.

Assemble of the cake

Dip the lady fingers into the juice long enough to get them wet but do not soak them.

Arrange the lady fingers in the bottom of the pan. (some of the lady fingers you will need to trim in order to fit into the pan)

Add half of plain whipped cream over the lady fingers.

Top with fresh raspberries and push them into the filling (as much as you can or like)

Add another layer of lady fingers. (same rules as for the first layer. Dip them into cranberry juice)

Then add half of the heavy cream with raspberry chocolate .

Top with fresh raspberries and decorate with chocolate. (if you wish)

Cover and transfer to the fridge for 6 hours or overnight.

Quick Note

Please read a quick note below in order to make this recipe 100% success.

Quickly dip each side of the lady fingers into the cranberry juice. You don’t want to soak them because they will be soggy. Remember, JUST A QUICK DIP ON EACH SIDE.

You will have to fit lady fingers to 9 by 5 pan. So, you will need to cut some lady fingers. (check the picture above)

Where to buy lady fingers (or ladyfingers)?

You can find them in most large grocery stores like Walmart, Safeway, Super Store or you can purchase them online.

Amazon is always an option. Also, check your local stores or Italian markets.

Now, you are ready to eat. YES! Find your favorite golden (or not) fork and let’s enjoy.

You do make decision how much “healthy” you want to include.

  • olive oil

How to make Green Healthy Spinach Pizza

Ingredients

3 cups broccoli florets

3/4 cup ricotta cheese

1/3 cup sour cream

3 cloves of garlic

1/4 cup feta cheese

1/8 cup Italian Parsley, minced

Pizza Toppings: spinach, cheese, broccoli

INSTRUCTIONS

Line baking sheet with aluminum foil. Set aside.

Preheat oven to 400 F.

Add 6 cups of water and salt to a large pot. Bring to boil. Then add broccoli i boil for 3 mintues.

Remove from heat and rinse under cold water. Drain the best you can and transfer to the food processor.

Add ricotta cheese, sour cream and garlic. Blend until smooth.

Transfer to the bowl, add feta cheese, Italian parsley, salt and pepper. Stir with wooden spoon. Set aside.

PIZZA TIME: Roll pizza dough to 9 inches. 

Important: I have been using less pizza dough these days and spreading it thinner with olive oil fingertips. Remember, less is more and staying skinny is important. (just kidding)

Assemble pizza:

Place pizza on prepared baking sheet.

Cover with green broccoli cream.

Add toppings of your choice. I did add the following and in this order:

spinach, cheese, garlic.

If you want to add broccoli check the final note.

Bake at 400 F for 20 minutes or until done.

Serving my way

I like to top baked pizza with fresh salad, broccoli and more green sauce.

    Preheat oven to 400 F.

    Add 6 cups of water and salt to a large pot. Bring to boil. Then add broccoli i boil for 3 minutes.

    Remove from heat and rinse under cold water. Drain the best you can and transfer to the food processor.

    Add ricotta cheese, sour cream and garlic. Blend until smooth.

    Transfer to the bowl, add feta cheese, Italian parsley, salt and pepper. Stir with wooden spoon. Set aside.

    PIZZA TIME: Roll pizza dough to 9 inches.

    Place pizza on prepared baking sheet.

    Cover with green broccoli cream.

    Add toppings of your choice. I did add the following and in this order:

    spinach, cheese, garlic.

    Bake at 400 F for 20 minutes or until done.

    I like to top baked pizza with fresh salad, broccoli and more green sauce.

Cook the broccoli in salted boiled water for 2 minutes. Rinse under cold water. Drain well.

Chop into small bits. The next step is optional but it is my favorite.

I like to toss broccoli with lemon juice then add salt to taste.

Add to your pizza. Bake as usual.

If you have extra broccoli cream eat with your favorite vegetables, add to mashed potatoes or eat with baked French fries. The options are unlimited when you make this healthy cream. Always use your imagination and play with food.

But the question is how? I already talked about liver detox and eating sweets between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Yes, this is your first step. Work with your liver. Be kind to your body. Your second step is to pay attention to the ingredients. Of course I know you can’t afford all organic ingredients but you can make choice to reduce amount of sugar that flies to your body.

If you are getting angry at this point because I am trying to take sugar from you…please don’t. My recipe today is so amazing, full of flavor and chocolate. Trust me, you are not going to miss fudge brownies or quick brownies and if you do, you can still make them. Just prepared yourself for long, very long walks. (or buy hula-hoop and practice for 3 hours).

This recipe that I am about to share is from Woman’s World magazine from May 11 of 2020.

It is the real-world wow. Made with healthy ingredients good for your body and with ingredients that will satisfy your sweet cravings.

Ingredients

1 1/3 cup pitted dates

1 cup walnuts

1/2 cup maple spread

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/3 cup chopped pecans

INSTRUCTIONS

Line 8 by 8 pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Set aside.

In food processor, finely grind dates and walnuts.

Then add maple spread until mixed.

Your next step is to add cocoa and mix until incorporated.

Press into prepared pan.

Sprinkle with pecans or walnuts.

Trick to spread evenly: Cover with plastic wrap and press. (you can use glass to roll it)

Chill for 3 hours in the fridge or overnight.

Cut into 2 inch by 2 inch or any size you like.
