This is not your traditional bread or traditional flatbread. So what is it then? Should you make it?

Let me start sharing that this recipe is great alternative when you want to eat bread but you want guilt free recipe.

Never mind being gluten-free diet choice. Yes, I know this is the fantastic way to enjoy high protein cottage cheese recipes.

In order to make this recipe you will need to have a food processor. (I did not test this recipe using air fryer or immersion blender)

As you know I am KitchenAid kind of girl. From the mixer to the food processor. You will never make mistake with KithenAid food processor.

The ingredients for the flat bread recipe are simple: cup of cottage cheese, whole eggs, salt, black pepper, walnut and chia seeds.

Yes, it is that simple. So, let’s get ingredients for our new favorite viral recipe called High-Protein Cottage Cheese Flatbread.

  • eggs (organic if you can)
  • walnuts
  • chia seeds
  • oregano
  • black pepper

Making High-Protein Cottage Cheese Flatbread-Easy Viral Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup of cottage cheese

2 whole eggs

1 TBSP chia seed

1/4 cup walnuts

1 TBSP oregano

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

 Instructions for making Cottage Cheese Bread

Preheat oven to 375 F.

Line baking sheet with the parchment paper and spray with the cooking spray. (you can use aluminum foil too)

In a food processor add 1 cup of cottage cheese, 2 whole eggs, walnuts, chia seed, oregano and ground black pepper.

Blend on high until you get smooth creamy texture. It is that simple.

Pour the cottage cheese mixture into parchment-lined baking sheet.

Bake for 21 minutes at 375 F. (some recipes are calling from 30-35 minutes)

For me 21 minutes was the perfect golden baked flat bread.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.

Add your favorite sandwich toppings…enjoy your moment with your creation….and then…

Quick Note

Cottage Cheese – use your favorite. I used 2%

Eggs – for this recipe I used large size eggs. Use fresh eggs, organic if you can. Don’t forget to visit your local farmers market.

Chia Seed – don’t use it if you don’t like. I love this flat bread with chia seeds and walnuts.

Other – you can add to the cottage cheese mixture any of the following ingredients: an Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, good pinch of salt and so on. Make your thin layer to your taste.

Favorite Toppings – sweet tomato, tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese, feta cheese, fresh garlic, mozzarella cheese or any cheese you like, egg whites, fresh red onions, chicken or any kind of meat you like

Greek Yogurt – if you want ever more protein, eat this sandwich with fresh, organic Greek yogurt.

Even if you don’t care about the nutritional value of this recipe I strongly suggest you make this flat bread for your family. Or just for yourself.
