From sugar to walnuts and chocolate. BTW, for this recipe you don’t need to use the brown sugar. You can use the white sugar. Yes, I know there is brown sugar shortage.

Shopping List for Coffee Crisp Walnut Squares
- unsalted butter
- sugar
- chocolate
- walnuts (you will use ground walnuts and chopped walnuts)
- coffee
- Coffee Crisp Chocolate
- oil
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
-prepared pan 9 by 13 inches (I used glass baking dish)
-2 medium bowl (or large bowl)
-large saucepan
-food processor
Important: you will need no electric mixer or large mixing bowl.
ACTION TIME
Making Easy Coffee Crisp Walnut Squares Recipe
Ingredients
100 ml water
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
2 package coffee crisp chocolate (18 chocolate x 12 gr)
3 cups walnuts
1 TBSP ground coffee
Chocolate Glaze
3 oz chocolate bars
1 TBSP oil
Instruction for making NO-Bake Coffee Crisps Bars
Step 1: Prepare baking pan 9 by 13 inches by spraying with baking spray
You can also line with the aluminum foil or parchment paper. Set aside.
BTW, you can also use square pan 9 by 9 inches.
For dry Ingredients you will need 2 medium bowl (or large bowl)
Step 2: Ground walnuts and coffee crisp chocolate
Add coffee crisp chocolate to the food processor and process until ground (smooth).
Transfer to medium bowl.
Your next step is to ground 3 cups of walnuts.
Transfer to another medium bowl. Set aside.
Step 3:
Add sugar and water to the saucepan.
Bring to boil and boil until sugar is dissolved. (about 3 minutes from the boiling point).
Remove from heat and add unsalted butter to the hot water.
Stir with the wooden spoon until the butter is melted.
Your next step is to add ground walnuts, coffee and ground coffee crisp chocolates.

Butter – use unsalted butter.
Walnuts – for this recipe I used California walnuts.
Chocolate – I used about Lindt dark chocolate bar, 70% cocoa. You can use your favorite brand. If you don’t have chocolate bars you can use chocolate chips for the icing. (Guittard brand, Ghirardelli chocolate chips or your favorite brand)
Ground Coffee – I used Illy coffee, Classic roast. I did not use the instant coffee for this recipe.
