Our recipe today is so easy to make. And yes, I know. I love the tiramisu recipes. I have made so many times…there is no point to count. However this recipe is the combo of the things I love. My favorite tiramisu recipe plus dalgona frosting. How can you go wrong with this dessert? Of course you can’t and because of that…time to start our baking show.
Let me tell you just a little bit about this amazing dessert….

SHOPPING LIST FOR Dalgona Espresso Tiramisu Recipe
- Ladyfingers
- cream cheese
- sugar
- icing sugar
- egg yolks
- heavy cream
- instant coffee
- coffee (grounded)
- milk
Equipment Needed
-KitchenAid mixer or hand mixer
-8 by 8 glass pan
-mixing bowl
Dalgona Espresso Tiramisu Recipe
Ingredients
2 egg yolks
1/4 cup regular white sugar
8 oz cream cheese (you can use Philadelphia or mascarpone cheese)
1/2 cup icing sugar
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 TBSP pure vanilla extract
package of ladyfingers
1 1/4 cups strong coffee
1/4 cup milk
cocoa for decoration (or anything you like)
Dalgona Coffee Filling
3 TBSP instant coffee
5 TBSP sugar
3 TBSP hot water
2/3 heavy cream
2 tsp whip it stabilizer
Instructions for making tiramisu recipe
Line 8 by 8 glass pan with aluminum foil. Set aside.
Important:
Make very strong coffee. Then add pure vanilla into hot coffee and 1/4 cup of milk.
Stir all ingredients together. Set aside to cool until you make the cheese filling.
How to make Cheese Filling
Add egg yolks and sugar to the mixing bowl.
Mix at high speed for about 6 minutes.
Then add 8 oz of Philadelphia cheese (room temperature) and mix until combined.
Your next step is to add icing sugar and mix it in. (1 minute)
In another mixing bowl mix heavy cream. (check important note)
Add whipped heavy cream to the cheese mixture and quickly mix. (until combined)
Then add pure vanilla extract and stir until combined. Set aside.
MAKING DALGONA COFFEE FILLING
First step is to add coffee, sugar, hot water and mix for about 2 minutes.
Then transfer whipped coffee into a bowl or cup and using the same mixing bowl add heavy cream.
Mix heavy cream until whipped. (3 to 5 minutes)
Then add whipped coffee into the whipped heavy cream and stir everything using a large silicone spatula.
So, you are done. You just made the best dalgona coffee filling.
Now, you are ready to complete the best recipe.
How to assemble the Dalgona Espresso Tiramisu Recipe?
Dip ladyfingers into coffee/milk mixture and place into 8 by 8 pan.
Spread half of the cheese mixture on top of ladyfingers.
Repeat process with the second layer of ladyfingers and finish with cheese cream mixture.
And now the SECRET: Cover and transfer to the fridge for 24 hrs. (Yes, I know). This is the secret.
After 24 hours you will taste the best homemade tiramisu EVER! Trust me!
Cover with dalgona frosting and sprinkle some magic dust of cocoa or decorate with shaved chocolate.

Quick Note
Cheese – I use the best cheese called Philadelphia cream cheese. (original, don’t use light version)
Eggs – this recipe is using raw egg yolks. So be sure to use fresh, organic eggs. If you are afraid of raw egg yolks, you can cook egg yolks using double boiler method.
Milk – I used 2% milk. Use what you have
Ladyfingers – check Walmart, Superstore, Safeway or any food store.
Heavy Cream – I used 33%
Instant coffee – buy from $ store.
Icing sugar – if you don’t have the icing sugar, just make homemade version. Use coffee grinder or blender to make icing sugar from regular.
Cocoa – I used organic from Costco. If you don’t like the taste of cocoa use shaved chocolate or ground coffee
