Shopping List
- butter, unsalted
- whole brown sugar (Muscovado)
- flour
- eggs
- chocolate chips
- chocolate
- pure vanilla extract
- baking soda, salt
ACTION TIME
How to make Bobby Flay’s chocolate chip cookies?
Ingredients
2 cups + 3 TBSP flour (all purpose)
1/2 + 1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 + 1/4 tsp salt
1 cup butter, unsalted
1 cup white sugar
2/3 cup whole brown sugar, Muscovado
2 eggs, large
1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
5 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped into chunks
5 oz milk chocolate, chopped into chunks
INSTRUCTIONS
Add the following ingredients into a medium size bowl:
flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the butter until smooth. (1 minute)
After that add sugars and beat until light and fluffy. (about 2 minutes)
Then add eggs, vanilla and mix until incorporated.
Finally add half of the flour mixture and mix until incorporated.
Add the remaining flour until just combined.
And your last step is to add chocolate chunks and fold it.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 day. (no more than 3 days)
AFTER 24 HOURS
Using an ice cream scoop, spoon the dough on to the baking sheet.
IMPORTANT:
I made 2 sizes of cookies: small and large.
For small cookies I use 7/8 oz ice cream scoop
And for the large cookies I used 2 oz ice cream scoop.
BAKING:
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Small cookies I baked 8 minutes and 30 seconds.
The large one I baked for 11 minutes.
Let the cookies cool …

I used ORGANIC BUTTER for this recipe.
IMPORTANT:
- For this recipe I used organic, unsalted butter. (it makes cookies extra soft)
- If you like flat cookies then this is your recipe.
- You can keep cookie batter in the fridge for 3 days.
- Also you can freeze unbaked cookies (for about 3 months)
