Description
It is beautiful, delicious, moist cake with walnuts and chocolate in every bite.
So, if you love walnuts this is the most amazing walnut chocolate cake recipe ever.
Did I mention, it is also a ridiculously easy to make.
The ingredients are simple and you probably have all of them right
now in your kitchen.
If not, you will need to move your lazy body to your favorite food store and buy the following:
SHOPPING LIST
- Walnuts
- Butter
- Flour
- Sugar
- Eggs
- Cinnamon
- Pure Vanilla Extract
- Chocolate Chips
- Heavy Cream
Action time or how to make Walnut Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
1 cup organic butter
1 cup sugar
2 organic eggs
1 1/4 cups walnuts (grounded)
1/2 TBSP pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour (all purpose, not bleached)
1/2 TBSP pure vanilla extract
Topping:
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/3 cups chopped walnuts
INSTRUCTIONS
In a medium bowl sift flour and cinnamon. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl add butter and sugar.
Mix until light and fluffy.
Add 2 eggs and mix well.
Your next step is to add vanilla extract and grounded walnuts.
Again, mix all ingredients together.
Add flour mixture and mix until all ingredients are incorporated.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
NEXT DAY
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Spray muffin top pan, 12 cavity with baking spray.
Using an ice cream scoop (8 oz) to fill muffin top, 12 cavity.
Press dough with your hands so it is resting evenly inside of muffin cavity.
Bake at 350 F from 10 to 11 minutes.
Cool it.
Chocolate Icing
Heat heavy cream until almost boiled.
Pour over chocolate chips.
Let it sit for 5 minutes. (don’t mix)
After 5 minutes
Mix until smooth and shiny.
Pour over each individual cake.
Enjoy this moment. All by yourself.
Just YOU and CHOCOLATE!
Decorate with grounded walnuts.
Optional:
Top with heavy cream or your favorite ice cream.
