When John Mayer wrote the song “Your Body Is a Wonderland” I am sure he was not thinking about the baking.
Me, on the other hand just looking into this pink bowl was singing “Your body is a wonderland. I will make cakes, tortes, roulades of you.”
And as John is singing
” Your body is a wonderland
Your body is a wonder ( I’ll use my hands)”
I am thinking “I will use the mixer…”

So, do you see what I mean? The pink bowl of fun is our baking wonderland.
Screw you John for not seeing what was obvious. (sorry for language)
After all,
“We got the afternoon
You got this room for two (he was thinking kitchen)
One thing I’ve left to do
Discover me
Discovering you….”
So, turn the music on and let’s start from the beginning.
You need to have the following ingredients:
-strawberries (organic if you can), unsalted butter, icing sugar, vanilla extract, salt, whipping cream.
From listed ingredients above you will make the following – see the picture!
Now, the obvious question is HOW?
Strawberry Buttercream Frosting
Made from fresh strawberries – Yes, it it homemade!
Ingredients:
1 lbs strawberries (454 gr)
1 cup unsalted butter
4 1/2 cups icing sugar (you can use less, it is your choice)
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
1 TBSP whip cream (optional)
Instructions:
Core the strawberries to remove the white center.
Place cleaned strawberries in a food processor and pulse until smooth.
You will have about 1 and 1/4 cup of puree.
Then put the pureed through a sieve to remove the seed. You don’t need to do this step if you like seeds .(Weirdo! I am not judging you…)
Place strawberry puree in a small saucepan over a medium heat.
Bring mixture to a simmer, stirring often. Simmer for about 30 min or until the mixture is reduced to 1/3 of the original volume.
Place the reduced puree into the fridge to allow to cool.
Next Step:
Beat the butter. Be sure that there is no lumps.
Then add 2 1/2 cups of icing sugar and mix until butter and sugar are combined.
Add your strawberry puree, vanilla and salt.
Beat together until combined.
Then add 2 cups of icing sugar and mix well until well combined.
Add 1 TBSP of whip cream if needed and wanted.
And you have it, your homemade Strawberry Buttercream Frosting made from fresh strawberries.Enjoy.
If you want to make Strawberry Nutella Buttercream frosting divide the whole mixture into 2 equal parts.
Add 1/2 cup Nutella into one mixture and mix until combined.
Play with your food…
“Take all your big plans
And break ’em

Instructions
You got this room for two
One thing I’ve left to do
Discover me
Discovering you
Your skin like porcelain
One pair of candy lips and
Your bubblegum tongue
We’ll make it
Swim in a deep sea
Of blankets
Take all your big plans
And break ’em
This is bound to be a while
Your body is a wonder (I’ll use my hands)
Your body Is a wonderland
I love the shape you take when crawling towards the pillowcase
You tell me where to go and
Though I might leave to find it
I’ll never let your head hit the bed
Without my hand behind it
We’ll make it
Swim in a deep sea
Of blankets
Take all your big plans
And break ’em
This is…
